LVRT Security Camera

The Town of Swanton is seeking proposals for a security camera system for the Lamoille Valley Trail (LVRT) trailhead located at 99 Robin Hood Drive in Swanton Vermont. The camera system shall have the following attributes:

1. The system shall provide video cover the major attributes of the trailhead to include parking area, pavilion, port-a-let enclosure, and screen fence.
2. The ideal system would ideally be compatible and provide real time video to the Swanton Village security system located in the Village office located at 122 First Street. If the vendor cannot meet this requirement, the vendor shall propose an alternative system that can be accessed through the web.
3. The system shall have a minimum of 72-hour video storage capacity.
4. The preferred location for the cameras is the light pole located in the NW corner of the site. The vendor can propose alternate locations.
5. The vendor shall have a minimum of five years of in the security surveillance industry. 
6. The system shall be installed within 60 days of contract award.

Proposals are due NO LATER THAN APRIL 24, 2026 AT 4:30 PM either by mail, courier, or in person (emails will not be accepted) to the Town Office located at 1 Academy Street, Swanton Vermont.
