SWANTON PLANNING COMMISSION

Wednesday, January 10, 2024

Town Office Building

1 Academy Street, Swanton, VT

6:30 p.m

Present: Ross Lavoie-Vice Chair, Andy LaRocque, heather Buckowski-Members, Amy Giroux-Zoning Administrator, Corey Parent, Damon Broderick

1. Call to Order

Mr. Lavoie called the meeting to order at 6:37pm.

2. Agenda Review

Mr. Lavoie reviewed the agenda.

3. Review minutes of December 13, 2023

Mr. LaRocque made a motion to approve December 13, 2023 draft minutes as written, seconded by Ms. Buckowski. Motion carried.

4. Land Use & Development Regulations Review

Mr. Parent reviewed some of the some of the regulations going through the legislator this year in Montpelier. Mr. Parent recommended waiting until the legislator finishes their session to finalize the complete rewrite.

Mr. Parent reviewed current parking / driveway regulations in the by-laws that are also changing at the state level.

Mr. LaRocque made a motion to adjourn at 8:21 pm, seconded by Ms. Buckowski. Motion carried.
