TOWN OF SWANTON

 SPECIAL SELECTBOARD MEETING

SITE VISIT – JERRYMILL LANE

Swanton, Vermont

Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Present: Joel Clark-Chair, Steve Bourgeois, Nick Brosseau-Members, Brian Savage-Town Administrator, Christina Candels-Assistant Town Administrator,

Absent: Earl Fournier, Nicole Draper

1.  Call to Order

Mr. Clark called the meeting to order at 12:00 pm.

                        Everyone in attendance walked the entire length of Jerrymill Lane.

                        Board members asked Mr. Cummings questions as they walked, viewing the road.

• Mr. Clark, is there a copy of the stormwater permit? Yes, it is recorded with the Town.
• Mr. Bourgeois asked, will there be a core test? Yes.
• Mr. Brosseau asked, will there be more homes developing? No, the last two lots have been sold.
• Mr. Clark said if the board moves forward may require stone to be put down to bring up the edges where the road was paved in some areas.
• Mr. Bourgeois asked who would mow the side of the road? The Town where the homeowners do not currently.
• Mr. Bourgeois asked how long the road is? Both sections together are about 1500’.
• Mr. Clark asked if the topcoat has been added to the road? Yes, 1^st section in 2022, 2^nd section in 2023.
• Mr. Brosseau asked when the development was started? 2016.
• Mr. Brosseau asked how many homes there are in the development? 9 homes have been built and the last two lots sold will have homes built on them.

Nest Steps:

Mr. Cummings will have core test completed and present the results to the Selectboard.

Mr. Bourgeois made a motion to adjourn at 12:17 pm, seconded by Mr. Brosseau. Motion carried.
